Our Core Privacy Principle

DevDockTools is built with privacy as a first principle. All tool processing happens entirely in your browser. Files you open in image tools, text you paste into developer tools, URLs you enter in SEO tools — none of it is ever transmitted to our servers. There are no servers involved in tool processing whatsoever.

What We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate and improve the service:

  • Anonymous analytics: Page views and tool usage counts via Google Analytics. These are aggregated, anonymous statistics — no personal identifiers.
  • Error reports: JavaScript runtime errors are logged without any file content, user input, or personally identifiable information.

What We Never Collect

  • Images, documents, or any files you open in our tools
  • Text, code, or data you paste or type into our tools
  • Account credentials (we have no accounts)
  • Payment information (all tools are free forever)
  • IP addresses tied to tool usage
  • Any personal information of any kind

How Our Tools Work

Every tool on DevDockTools runs exclusively in your browser using Web APIs:

  • Image tools use the Canvas API — your image is drawn to an off-screen canvas and re-encoded locally.
  • Developer tools use built-in JavaScript functions (JSON.parse, btoa/atob, crypto.randomUUID).
  • CSS tools perform mathematical calculations in JavaScript.
  • SEO tools generate text strings from your input — no external requests are made.

You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet and confirming all tools still work.

Cookies

We use one cookie to store your dark/light mode theme preference. This cookie never leaves your browser and contains no personal information. We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies.

If Google AdSense ads are displayed, Google may set their own cookies subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics: Anonymous traffic analysis. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
  • Google AdSense: May serve contextual ads. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties beyond the anonymized analytics described above.

Data Retention

Since we process no personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Anonymous analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google Analytics' standard settings.

Children's Privacy

DevDockTools does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Our tools collect no personal information from any user.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of DevDockTools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
